Advantech WISE-S250-A is an expansion module for the WISE family, providing 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs and 1 RS-485 port. This configuration makes it possible to collect equipment states, control simple loads and communicate with serial devices at a single point.

The digital inputs support frequency-related functions, while the outputs can generate pulses, making the module suitable not only for simple state monitoring but also for counting applications and basic control.

The RS-485 port operates at speeds from 1200 bps to 115.2 kbps. WISE-S250-A is an expansion module and requires a compatible WISE base unit.

More functions at one telemetry point

WISE-S250-A combines input and output channels with a serial port, making it well suited to locations where state monitoring must be supplemented by control and access to an additional RS-485 device.

The six TTL digital inputs can be used to capture states and frequency signals. Two digital outputs provide basic actuation functions without a separate DO module.
