Milesight GS601-868M is a multi-sensor e-cigarette, smoke and air quality detector with LoRaWAN EU868communication. The device detects events related to vaping and smoking while simultaneously monitoring PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, TVOC, temperature and humidity, enabling continuous monitoring of indoor conditions.
The GS601 has a local LED indicator and 70 dB buzzer, a vibration sensor for detecting tampering attempts, threshold alarms, NFC configuration and FUOTA remote update functionality. 5 V / 1 A power via USB-C or an optional PoE splitter and ceiling mounting make the device well suited to schools, restrooms, changing rooms, stairwells and other smoke-free areas.

Milesight GS601-868M is an advanced e-cigarette and smoke detector using LoRaWAN EU868 communication. The device combines several measurement technologies, enabling simultaneous detection of events related to vaping and monitoring basic air quality parameters.
The GS601 measures PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 particulate levels, TVOC, temperature and humidity, and also calculates the Vape Index used to identify characteristic changes occurring during e-cigarette use.

The GS601 uses data from several independent sensors to better distinguish actual vaping-related events from environmental changes.
The manufacturer has provided mechanisms to reduce the influence of water vapor and other gas interference, and information about interference can be reported by the device.

The built-in LED indicator provides information about device status and alarms, while the buzzer generates a 70 dB signal at a distance of 1 meter.

The GS601 makes it possible to set the buzzer hibernation time.
The function allows local audible indication to be temporarily limited, for example during installation, configuration or servicing.
Built-in vibration sensor and Tamper Alarm
The GS601 has a vibration sensor that makes it possible to detect attempts to move, damage or tamper with the device.
The Tamper Alarm function is particularly important in schools, restrooms and other publicly accessible places where users may attempt to disable the detector.
Rapid temperature rise alarm
Milesight has provided a function that uses temperature measurement to detect potentially hazardous thermal changes.
The function provides an additional layer of monitoring, but the GS601 should not be treated as a certified replacement for a fire protection system or fire detector.
