Advantech WISE-S214-A – expansion module with 4 analog and 4 digital inputs

Advantech WISE-S214-A is an I/O module designed to expand compatible WISE-4200/WISE-4400 wireless devices. It provides 4 differential analog inputs and 4 digital inputs, enabling both continuous process signals and binary states to be collected at a single point.

The analog inputs support voltage and current signals, including the common 4–20 mAstandard. The 16-bit resolution makes the module suitable for industrial pressure, level, flow and other process transmitters.

The digital channels can operate as state inputs and support a counter up to 200 Hz. WISE-S214-A is not a standalone radio module – it is an expansion component for a compatible base unit.

Analog and digital signals in one module

WISE-S214-A is useful in applications where an analog transmitter signal must be recorded together with machine states, alarm signals or pulses. The four AI channels are differential inputs and support multiple voltage and current ranges.

The TTL digital inputs support a counter function up to 200 Hz, the option to retain or reset the counter value after a power loss, and input-logic inversion.
