Advantech EVA-2310-EA – battery-powered LoRaWAN temperature and humidity sensor

Advantech EVA-2310-EA is a compact wireless environmental sensor that measures temperature and relative humidity and transmits the data to a LoRaWAN network. The EA variant is designed for the EU 863–870 MHzband.

The temperature detection range is -20~50°C with ±1°C accuracy at 25°C, while the humidity range is 0–90% RH non-condensing with ±4% RH accuracy at 25°C. These parameters meet typical requirements for monitoring rooms, warehouses and technical infrastructure.

The sensor is powered by two 3.6 V AA batteries and can operate for up to approximately 5 years at 25°C with a 15-minute reporting interval. This allows installation without running power or communication cables.

Continuous control of the microclimate in rooms and technical areas

EVA-2310 provides two fundamental parameters describing ambient conditions. Temperature is important for comfort, technological processes and equipment operation, while humidity helps control condensation risk, excessive dryness and storage conditions.

Data transmitted over LoRaWAN can be archived, visualized and used for alarms in the supervisory system. This creates a historical record of conditions without manual reading of data loggers.

Battery power and LoRaWAN communication make EVA-2310-EA well suited to upgrades of existing facilities. The measurement point can be placed where data is needed without being constrained by the availability of mains power or Ethernet.

The operating temperature range of the complete device is -20~55°C, which should be distinguished from the measuring range of the built-in temperature sensor.
