Four reasons to choose it
Remote readings without on-site visits
Data is transmitted automatically via LoRaWAN — no more manually recording meter readings in every unit.
Built-in radio module
The water meter is ready for transmission immediately after installation — no add-on modules or separate communication devices required.
Scalable across the entire building
A single LoRaWAN gateway handles readings from multiple water meters simultaneously — from a single stairwell to an entire residential complex.
Flexible deployment
Data can be kept locally in the building (ITS Edge Cabinet) or centrally in the cloud (ITS Cloud) — choose the architecture that fits your organization.
What is included in the solution
- LoRaWAN water meter View in store →DN15 water meter with an integrated multiprotocol radio module — installed like a standard water meter and ready for remote reading without additional components.
- LoRaWAN gatewaysReceives data from all water meters within range and forwards it — to the ITS Edge Cabinet or ITS Cloud, depending on the selected option.
- ITS Edge Cabinet — basic version (option 1)Local, fully self-contained instance of the ITS platform — data remains within the building or facility.
- ITS Cloud (option 2)Central cloud instance of the ITS platform — one dashboard for multiple buildings or locations at the same time.
The number of water meters and placement of LoRaWAN gateways are selected based on the size of the building or residential estate — typically one water meter per unit or water draw-off point.
How it works — two deployment options
The same water meters and the same LoRaWAN gateway — only the data destination changes.
Water meters transmit readings via LoRaWAN to a gateway installed in the building, which forwards them over Ethernet to the ITS Edge Cabinet in the basic version. Consumption history, reports and the dashboard are available locally, with no internet connection required.
Instead of connecting to a local cabinet, the same LoRaWAN gateway connects via GSM/LTE directly to ITS Cloud. Data from multiple buildings or addresses is sent to one shared platform instance — the manager sees all locations in a single dashboard.

Where it works best
Housing cooperatives and homeowners' associations
Automatic water consumption readings in all units, with no need to schedule meter-reader visits.
Property managers
One dashboard for multiple buildings or addresses managed by the same company.
Water utilities and municipalities
Large-scale remote reading without assigning staff to manually record meter readings.
Hotels and accommodation facilities
Monitoring water consumption in individual rooms or apartments.
Campuses and industrial facilities
Water consumption across multiple buildings within one complex, in a single view.
Short-term rentals
Billing water consumption per unit without manually recording meter readings.
No more manual meter readings
- Manual reading — meter-reader visits in every unit
- Readings once per quarter or less often
- Risk of errors when recording readings manually
- No real-time visibility into consumption between readings
- Need to access each unit separately
- Automatic readings via LoRaWAN, no visits required
- Data arrives regularly, not just once per quarter
- Digital readings, no manual transcription errors
- Current consumption visibility in the dashboard
- No need to access the unit after the water meter is installed
