Four reasons to choose it
Multi-sensor detection
One device simultaneously detects e-cigarette vapor, smoke, volatile organic compounds (TVOC), temperature, humidity and particulate matter.
Tamper resistance
The built-in vibration sensor detects attempts to remove, cover or damage the sensor.
Immediate on-site alarm
The built-in buzzer and LED indicate threshold exceedance locally — regardless of whether the system is currently being monitored.
Flexible deployment
Fully offline on site or with centralized cloud reporting for multiple locations — choose the architecture that fits your needs.
What is included in the solution
- LoRaWAN smoke and vapor sensor View in store →Detects e-cigarette vapor, smoke, TVOC, temperature, humidity and particulate matter. Built-in vibration sensor, buzzer and alarm LED, battery powered.
- LoRaWAN gatewaysReceives data from sensors deployed throughout the facility and forwards it — to ITS Edge Cabinet or ITS Cloud, depending on the selected option.
- ITS Edge Cabinet — basic version (option 1)Local, fully self-contained ITS platform instance — data never leaves the facility.
- ITS Cloud (option 2)Central cloud instance of the ITS platform — one dashboard for multiple buildings or locations.
The number of sensors and placement of LoRaWAN gateways are selected based on facility size — typically one sensor per restroom, locker room or other room requiring monitoring.
How it works — two deployment options
The same sensor and the same LoRaWAN gateway — only the data destination changes.
Sensors transmit data via LoRaWAN to a gateway installed at the facility, which forwards it over Ethernet to the ITS Edge Cabinet in the basic version. The entire ITS platform instance runs locally: alarms, reading history and the dashboard are available on site with no internet connection.
Instead of connecting to a local cabinet, the same LoRaWAN gateway connects via GSM/LTE directly to ITS Cloud. Data from multiple buildings or branches is sent to one shared platform instance — the central team sees all locations in a single dashboard.
| Location | Event | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Locker room A | E-cigarette vapor | 2 min ago |
| Restroom P2 | Vibration (tampering) | 41 min ago |
| Corridor A | Elevated TVOC | 2h 10min ago |

Where it works best
Schools and educational facilities
Restrooms, locker rooms and other unsupervised areas where smoking or vaping occurs.
Offices and coworking spaces
Monitoring common areas in line with company smoking policies.
Hotels
Monitoring non-smoking rooms without compromising guest privacy.
Dormitories and boarding schools
Fire safety and enforcement of rules in common areas.
Public facilities
Public restrooms and other locations requiring monitoring without cameras.
Short-term rentals
Verifying compliance with non-smoking rules in rental apartments and units.
Real-time alarms instead of guesswork
- Physical patrols and spot checks
- Standard fire smoke detectors do not detect vaping
- No real-time alerting
- No event history or data for analysis
- Cameras as the only alternative — privacy concerns
- Continuous automatic monitoring 24/7
- Dedicated detection of e-cigarette vapor, smoke and TVOC
- Immediate local and system alarm
- Complete event history for every zone
- No cameras — air-quality monitoring, not video
