IMI NEON Pressure Sensor – remote pressure measurement via LoRaWAN

IMI NEON Pressure Sensor is an industrial solution enabling wireless pressure monitoring in installations and technological processes. The device uses a ratiometric transducer working with a standard pressure sensor, allowing measurement data to be transmitted directly to the central monitoring system.

LoRaWAN 868 MHz communication reduces the need for additional communication cabling and facilitates the modernization of existing industrial installations.

The sensor also enables the creation of safety alarms indicating a pressure drop below the permissible value or an exceedance of the configured level.

Wide range of measurement configurations

NEON Pressure Sensor can be configured for various measurement ranges used in industrial installations. The manufacturer specifies a range of -1...9 bar as well as variants covering ranges from 0...2,5 to 1000 bar.

Measurement accuracy is ±0,4% of full scale, allowing the device to be used both for ongoing process monitoring and for detecting deviations from expected parameters.

Thanks to LoRaWAN communication, data from pressure measurement points can be transmitted to the central monitoring system. This provides better insight into process parameters and enables faster response to values falling outside the defined range.
