Version number 16A-W11-EU specifies the variant intended for European electrical installations with a Type Ffunction.

The maximum rated current is 16 A, and the operating voltage is within the range 100–250 V AC at 50–60 Hzfunction.

The socket has mechanical safety shutters that limit accidental access to the contacts.

WS513 measures the basic electrical parameters of the connected load and can send them to the platform via the LoRaWAN® network.

Available values include AC voltage, current, power factor, active power and cumulative electrical energy consumptionfunction.

According to the current manufacturer specification, typical measurement accuracy is ±3%, and the maximum is ±5%. The manufacturer also provides an option with ±1% accuracy.

WS513 enables the load power to be switched on and off directly using a button on the panel.

Control can also be performed remotely over the LoRaWAN® network, allowing an administrator to manage devices without physical access to the room.

Function Button Lock allows the physical button to be locked, limiting accidental or unauthorised changes to the socket state.

WS51x allows time schedules to be created to automatically switch power on or off at specified times.

Function Delay Switch allows an ON or OFF command to be executed after a specified time.

Timed control can reduce unnecessary device operation after hours and support automatic energy-consumption management in the building.

WS513 has the Overcurrent Protection/Alarm monitoring the load of the connected device.

When excessive current is detected, the device can generate an alarm. The manufacturer also specifies automatic load disconnection when the current exceeds 130% of the rated valuefunction.

The function provides an additional layer of protection for the connected equipment and the smart socket itself.

WS51x has the Power Failure Memory, which retains the previous device settings after a power outage.

When power is restored, the configuration does not need to be entered again, simplifying operation of a larger number of sockets in the installation.

Variant 868M supports the European EU868 and other plans available for the 868 MHz radio family.

Maximum transmit power at 868 MHz is 16 dBm, and receiver sensitivity reaches −137 dBmfunction.

WS513 operates as a OTAA/ABP Class C, so it can remain continuously ready to receive downlink commands.

WS513 supports the Milesight D2D and can operate as a D2D Agentfunction.

A compatible Milesight sensor or controller can send a command directly to change the socket state without passing through the LoRaWAN® gateway and cloud platform.

This enables local control dependencies with short response times, for example automatically switching a device on when a specific event is detected by another sensor.

Function Multicast enables devices to be grouped and controlled together.

The current manufacturer page indicates that a group can include up to 4 devices, allowing several sockets to be switched on or off simultaneously.

The solution is useful, among other places, in offices, training rooms and other spaces with repeatable groups of loads.

WS513 is equipped with NFC, allowing configuration using the Milesight ToolBox app on a compatible smartphone.

The installer can activate the device, read settings and save a new configuration by bringing the phone close to the socket panel.

After deployment, the device also supports remote configuration via LoRaWAN® Downlinkfunction.

The front of WS513 has 1 button enabling local switching of power and device reset.

Built-in LED indicator indicates the network status and current power state.

WS513 is designed for flush mounting as a direct component of the electrical installation.

The enclosure is made of white polycarbonate with UL94 V0 flammability rating, and the device ingress protection rating is IP20.

For the Type F variant, the dimensions are 86,3 × 86,3 × 45,8 mm, and the device weight is approximately 98,8 gfunction.
