Exact version WS501, PN: 3W-W11-EU is a variant 1-Gang, meaning it has one button and one control channel.

The device is designed for 86 mm square installation box and uses a 3-wire arrangement requiring a neutral conductor.

WS501 has 1 SPST output enabling one electrical circuit to be switched on and off.

For a resistive load, the maximum current is 10 A, while for an inductive load it is 5 Afunction.

The maximum rated power of a single channel is 1000 Wfunction.

WS501 is powered directly from the electrical installation and does not require an additional power supply.

The supported voltage range is 100–250 V AC, at a frequency of 50–60 Hzfunction.

The 3W version requires a neutral conductor, so the presence of the N conductor in the installation box must be checked before installation.

WS501 monitors the electrical parameters of the connected circuit and can transmit measurement results via the LoRaWAN® network.

The following are measured: AC voltage, current, power factor, active power and cumulative electrical energy consumptionfunction.

Typical measurement accuracy is ±3%, and the maximum is ±5%. The manufacturer also provides an option with ±1% accuracy.

The circuit can be switched on and off directly using the physical WS501 button, so the device retains the functionality of a traditional switch.

The same circuit can simultaneously be controlled remotely via the LoRaWAN® network, enabling integration with an IoT platform or building management system.

The built-in switch indicator uses the colour Ice Bluefunction.

The WS50x Series enables the circuit to be automatically switched on and off according to a set time or schedule.

Function Delay Switch allows a switching command to be executed after a specified delay.

Timing functions can reduce unnecessary operation of lighting and other loads outside required hours.

WS501 supports the Overcurrent Protection, which enables a response to excessive current in the connected load.

The function provides an additional layer of protection for the switch and the controlled electrical device.

Function Switch Lock allows local switch operation to be locked.

This is useful in shared, technical and commercial spaces where the circuit state should be centrally controlled.

Variant 868M supports the European EU868. The radio family also supports IN865 and RU864.

Maximum transmit power at 868 MHz is 16 dBm, and receiver sensitivity reaches −137 dBmfunction.

WS501 operates as a OTAA/ABP Class C, so it remains ready to receive downlink commands and remote control.

WS501 has internal LoRaWAN® antenna, so after installation no additional antenna or antenna cable is required.

The entire communication module is integrated into the switch enclosure, preserving the clean appearance of a standard wall panel.

Technology Milesight D2D enables direct communication between compatible Milesight devices without routing every command through a LoRaWAN® gateway.

WS501 can act as both a Milesight D2D Agent, as well as Milesight D2D Controllerfunction.

This enables local scenarios in which, for example, an occupancy sensor, button or other device can directly trigger a change in lighting state.

Support for Multicast enables a command to be sent to a group of compatible LoRaWAN® devices.

The function is useful in larger installations where several switches or circuits should respond together.

WS501 can be configured wirelessly via NFC using the Milesight ToolBox applicationfunction.

The installer can read settings and save configuration by bringing a compatible smartphone close to the device.

After deployment, settings can also be changed remotely using LoRaWAN® Downlinkfunction.

The W11-EU variant is a 86 Type and is designed for installation in a square 86 mm installation box.

The enclosure is made of white polycarbonate with UL94 V0 flammability rating, and the ingress protection rating is IP20function.

Device dimensions are 86 × 86 × 40 mm, while the weight of the 1-channel 86 Type variant is approximately 94 gfunction.
