Milesight VS126-P is a professional people counter designed for very high mounting at a height of 6–15 m. The device uses a binocular Stereo Vision system with 2 × 5 MP and AI algorithms, achieving counting accuracy of up to 99,8%. It supports, among other features, bidirectional people counting, Regional People Counting, Dwell Time, Group Counting, U-turn Filtering, Heat Map and Multi-Device Stitching of up to 16 devices.
Version VS126-P has a port Ethernet 10/100 Mb/s with PoE IEEE 802.3af, so data transmission and power can be provided through one cable. It supports MQTT/MQTTS, HTTP/HTTPS, 802.1X, SSH and NTP, and additionally offers 1 × DI, 2 × DO and an RS485 interface specified by the manufacturer as a function under development. Available color variants are White and Black.

Milesight VS126-P is a professional people counter designed specifically for facilities with very high ceilings where standard People Counting sensors do not provide sufficient range.
The device uses two 5 MP sensors and binocular Stereo Vision technology to create three-dimensional information about the monitored space.
The installation-height range from 6 to 15 m allows VS126-P to be used in large halls, terminals, shopping malls, libraries, stadiums and other extensive spaces.

VS126 uses two 5 MP sensors to simultaneously observe the monitored space.
Analysis of differences between the images from both sensors enables spatial information to be determined and people to be effectively recognized from a great height.

The detection area changes with mounting height. At a height of 10 m, one VS126 covers approximately 10.40 × 7.80 m, or more than 80 m².
Even at the maximum height of 15 m, the manufacturer specifies a detection area of approximately 9.92 × 7.43 m.
0 lux with IR illumination enabled
Integrated infrared illumination enables VS126 to operate even in very low light and complete darkness.
With the IR illuminators active, the manufacturer specifies required illumination of 0 lux.
Up to 4 independent counting lines
VS126 allows configuration of up to four bidirectional people-counting lines.
This makes it possible to analyze movement direction and independently record crossings in both directions.
Reducing unnecessary counts when people turn back
The U-turn Filtering function filters out unnecessary counts caused by people moving or turning back within the bidirectional counting area.
Up to 4 areas with dwell-time analysis
The device allows creation of up to four independent Regional People Counting areas.
For each zone, user dwell time can also be analyzed, supporting assessment of actual space utilization.
Analysis of people moving in groups
VS126 supports Group Counting, extending standard counting with analysis of people moving together as a group.
Traffic intensity and distribution analysis
The Heat Map function enables visualization of people-movement intensity and distribution in the monitored area.
The data can support optimization of circulation routes and utilization of large areas.
Connecting up to 16 VS126 devices
VS126 enables connection of up to 16 devices within the Multi-Device Stitching function.
This makes it possible to create one extensive analysis area in very large halls, terminals and public spaces.
Anonymous analysis compliant with GDPR
The manufacturer provides configurable preview settings protecting user data.
Milesight states that data enabling identification of individuals is not transmitted and that the solution complies with GDPR requirements.
