VS125-O-L0BEU — AI Stereo Vision people counter for outdoor operation
Milesight VS125-O-L0BEU is a professional people counter designed for outdoor and semi-open spaces, using 3D stereo vision and AI algorithms for precise analysis of people movement.
Its IP67 design, wide operating-temperature range and resistance to changing lighting conditions allow the device to be used at outdoor entrances, covered pedestrian routes, tourist facilities, events and other locations where standard indoor counters are not suitable.
The L0BEU variant has its own 4G LTE Cat 1 modem, so results can be transmitted over the cellular network without requiring local Internet access.
Up to 99.8% accuracy, IP67 and independent LTE transmission
Do 99,8%
3D stereo vision and AI algorithms provide high people-counting accuracy.
IP67
The sealed housing is designed for operation in demanding outdoor environments.
4G LTE Cat 1
The built-in modem enables independent data transmission through the mobile operator network.
Monitoring people movement in outdoor spaces
Two 4 MP sensors and 3D stereo vision
VS125-O uses two image sensors with a resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels.
Images from two observation points make it possible to create spatial information about the scene and determine the position of people in three dimensions.
The data is then analyzed by AI algorithms responsible for counting, event filtering and analytics functions.
Mounting height from 2.2 to 6 m
Up to approximately 10.44 × 6.02 m at a height of 6 m
The size of the monitored area increases with the installation height of the device.
Built-in IR illumination — operation from 0 lx
Integrated infrared emitters enable operation even in locations with no visible-light illumination.
This allows the counting function to be maintained both day and night and during large changes in lighting conditions.
Up to 4 independent counting lines
VS125-O allows configuration of up to four bidirectional people-counting lines.
The system distinguishes crossing direction and enables independent analysis of the number of people entering and leaving.
Filtering of people turning back
The U-turn Filtering function reduces unnecessary counts of people who enter the counting zone but then turn back.
This provides more accurate data on actual people flow.
Up to 4 independent zones and Dwell Time analysis
VS125-O allows creation of up to four Regional People Counting areas.
Each zone can have a complex shape with up to 10 sides and enables analysis of user dwell time.
Extended AI functions
Children / Adult
Child/adult differentiation is supported at a mounting height of 2.2–4 m.
Group Counting
The algorithm can analyze people moving together as a group.
Gender Recognition
The statistical visual-classification function is available at a height of 2.2–4 m.
Separating staff from customer traffic
VS125-O supports Staff Detection, allowing properly marked staff to be excluded from visitor statistics.
The function is available at an installation height from 2.2 to 4 m.
Staff Detection requires compatible staff identification, such as an appropriate Milesight accessory.
Traffic intensity and distribution analysis
The Heat Map function enables visualization of movement intensity in the monitored area.
The data can support people-flow analysis, space optimization and assessment of utilization of individual zones.
Linking up to 16 devices
VS125-O supports Multi-Device Stitching for up to 16 devices.
This makes it possible to create one larger analysis area at very wide entrances, pedestrian routes and large spaces.
Local analysis and data protection
Analytics algorithms run locally on the device, while results and statistical data can be transmitted to the higher-level system.
Milesight allows configuration of preview privacy settings and states that VS125 complies with GDPR requirements.
Up to 1,000,000 records and advanced retransmission
1 000 000
Local memory can store up to one million data records.
CSV
Stored data can be exported to a CSV file.
8 × 50 000
The system supports data retransmission in case of communication problems.
4G LTE Cat 1 for Europe and the EMEA region
VS125-O-L0BEU has a built-in LTE Cat 1 cellular modem and internal antenna.
This allows the device to transmit results directly through the mobile operator network without requiring a local Internet connection.
Additional RJ45 network port
In the VS125-O-L0BEU version, the Ethernet port is not used for PoE power.
DI, DO and local integration capabilities
2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in Access Point mode
The device has IEEE 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi operating in Access Point mode.
The Wi-Fi interface is used primarily for local device configuration and operation.
IP67 and operation from −20 to +65°C
IP67
The housing provides high resistance to dust and water.
−20…+65°C
The wide operating-temperature range enables use in demanding environments.
0–95% RH
The device can operate at high humidity without condensation.
DC 12 V / 1 A
The cellular VS125-O-L0BEU variant requires a fixed DC 12 V / 1 A power supply.
The manufacturer specifies average power consumption of approximately 5.1 W and a maximum of 10 W.
Reinforced black housing for outdoor operation
The standard installation method is ceiling mounting above the monitored area.
With the optional multifunction bracket, mounting on a ceiling extension or lintel is also possible.
