UWB-based staff exclusion

The staff-exclusion system uses Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, which enables precise employee location. The solution consists of UWB anchors, identifiers worn by staff and charging stations.

The anchors receive signals from employee identifiers, which transmit location data and enable accurate recognition. UWB technology provides precise staff identification using wireless signals, making it ideal for stores that require high accuracy and an aesthetically clean space without unnecessary components.

The Milesight UWB staff-exclusion system achieves accuracy of up to 99% and, when combined with Milesight VS-series devices, also enables analysis of staff movement routes.

Staff badge and armband recognition uses a specially designed visual pattern that can be detected by compatible people-counting sensors. When an employee wears the identifier on the arm or chest, the sensor recognizes the person as a staff member and excludes their movement from customer-traffic data.

Multifunctional employee badge VA04 can be worn on the arm in armband mode or on the chest in badge mode. This provides simple, anonymous and privacy-friendly staff exclusion from measurements.
