The set contains 8 VA31 lanyards. The accessory works, among other devices, with VS133 from firmware 1.0.2 and VS135 from firmware 1.0.5-r2. The lanyard is made of reflective polyester and should remain clearly visible around the employee’s neck during use.

Milesight VA31 is a specially designed reflective lanyard intended for use with VS13x-series people counters. It enables the system to recognize staff and separate employee traffic from customer traffic.
The solution is particularly useful in stores, shopping malls and other facilities using People Counting for visitor and conversion-rate analysis.
VA31 contains no electronics and requires no battery or radio configuration. Recognition is performed by a compatible Milesight sensor based on the distinctive reflective material of the lanyard.

To use VA31, enable the Staff Detection.
The lanyard should be worn around the neck and remain visible
Each employee should wear VA31 around the neck so that the reflective material is clearly visible to the people counter.
The lanyard should not be covered by a collar, scarf, hair or other clothing items.
The manufacturer also recommends that staff clothing not contain other reflective materials that could interfere with the Staff Detection function.
Reflective polyester
The lanyard is made of reflective polyester whose characteristics allow it to be recognized by compatible Milesight people counters.
The manufacturer recommends that VA31 not be washed, as this may gradually reduce the properties of the reflective material.
