Milesight SP11 A03-050-150 is a precision temperature probe Class A PT100 designed for measurements at very low temperatures. The measurement range extends to −200…50°C, with a typical accuracy of ±0,5°C within −175…50°C and ±0,55°C within −200…−175°C. The probe is designed to work with Milesight TS301, TS302 and TS602 devices.
The measuring tip is made of 304 stainless steel measures Ø4 × 30 mm and has an IP67 protection rating. The Teflon cable with a length of 1,5 m can operate at temperatures from −200 to 290°C, making the SP11 A03-050-150 suitable for low-temperature chambers, refrigeration, laboratories, and other applications requiring temperature measurement far below 0°C.

Milesight SP11 A03-050-150 — PT100 Class A, −200…50°C
Milesight SP11 A03-050-150 is a specialised Class A PT100 temperature probe designed for monitoring very low temperatures when used with compatible Milesight sensors.
Measurement range from −200°C to 50°C allows the probe to be used in applications far beyond the capabilities of standard refrigeration probes.
The design includes a compact 304 stainless steel measuring tip and a temperature-resistant 1,5 m Teflon cable, allowing the measurement point to be positioned directly in the monitored space.
Temperature Measurement Down to −200°C
−200…50°C
The very wide sub-zero temperature range allows the probe to be used in specialised low-temperature applications.
Class A PT100
The Class A platinum resistance element provides precise measurement in demanding temperature-monitoring installations.
Teflon Cable
The 1,5 m cable is rated for operation across a very wide temperature range from −200 to 290°C.
Very-Low-Temperature Monitoring
Class A Platinum Resistance Sensor
The SP11 A03-050-150 uses Class A PT100 sensing element.
The PT100 is a resistance temperature sensor that uses the change in platinum resistance as temperature changes.
The A03 variant is designed specifically for low-temperature applications and differs from other SP11 probes in both measurement range and cable design.
From −200°C to 50°C
The probe is designed to operate within the range −200…50°C.
This makes it possible to monitor temperature in environments where typical −40…125°C probes do not provide a sufficient measurement range.
The A03-050-150 variant is the lowest-temperature version among the standard SP11 PT100 probes offered by Milesight.
Up to ±0,5°C in the Main Operating Range
Within the range from −175°C to 50°C the manufacturer specifies the typical probe accuracy as ±0,5°C.
In the most demanding range from −200°C to −175°C, the typical accuracy is ±0,55°C.
304 stainless steel, Ø4 × 30 mm
The PT100 element is housed in a straight sleeve made of 304 stainless steel.
The tip has a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 30 mm, so it occupies very little space at the measurement point.
The manufacturer specifies the protection rating of the measuring section as IP67.
1,5 m Teflon Cable
The SP11 A03-050-150 features a 1,5 m Teflon cable.
Teflon is used because of the cable's very wide operating temperature range.
The manufacturer specifies the permissible cable temperature range as −200…290°C, so it does not limit the capabilities of the low-temperature PT100 element.
Contact measurement
Milesight specifies the use method of the A03-050-150 variant as Contact Installation.
The measuring tip is placed at a selected point in the monitored space or next to the monitored element, while the cable is routed to a compatible Milesight sensor.
For Milesight TS301, TS302 and TS602
The current Milesight accessories list shows the SP11 A03-050-150 as compatible with TS301, TS302 and TS602.
The probe is the external measuring element — the main device is responsible for reading, logging, and further data transmission.
Version Designed Specifically for Low Temperatures
SP11 A03-050-150 is the Low Temperature Applications variant with a −200…50°C range.
SP11 B05-125-200 is the standard Class B probe for −40…125°C, while SP11 AF10-125-150 uses a Class A needle probe for food applications.
The SP11 A05-500-150 variant, in contrast, is designed for high-temperature industrial applications and offers a range up to 500°C.
