Milesight SC541-HL-868M PN: 0510 is a compact Full HD sensor camera designed to automate remote inspections from a very short distance. The Super-Close Capture variant operates in the range 5–10 cm, offers a resolution of 1920 × 1080, a wide field of view of 120°, F2.0 aperture and 1,79 mm focal length. It is well suited, among other things, to reading meters, displays, indicators and other elements requiring regular photographic documentation.
Version SC541-HL-868M transmits images via Wi-Fi HaLow 863,5–867,5 MHz and the MQTT protocol, while 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi is used exclusively for local configuration. The camera can capture images according to a schedule, after an Alarm-In signal or at the press of a button, stores up to 40 images locally and can operate for up to approximately 3 years on 2 AA Li/FeS₂ batteries under the manufacturer's test conditions.

Milesight SC541-HL-868M PN: 0510 is a compact Full HD sensor camera designed for remote image capture of meters, displays, indicators, panels and other elements requiring regular inspection.
The PN: 0510 variant uses Super-Close Capture optics designed to operate at a distance of just 5–10 cm from the observed object.
Instead of periodic inspection performed by an employee, the device can automatically capture images and transmit them to the supervisory system, where the image can be archived or subjected to further analysis.

The wide field of view of the 0510 variant makes it possible to include a larger part of the inspected device despite the very short installation distance.

Image transmission in the 863,5–867,5 MHz band
The SC541-HL-868M variant uses Wi-Fi HaLow communication in the European sub-GHz 863,5–867,5 MHz band.
The device connects to a compatible access point or Wi-Fi HaLow gateway, e.g. Milesight HL31, and data can then be transmitted via MQTT to the supervisory system.
Designation 868M in this model refers to Wi-Fi HaLow and does not mean LoRaWAN.
2,4 GHz Wi-Fi in AP mode
Independently of Wi-Fi HaLow communication, the device has Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n 2,4 GHz.
In the SC541-HL version, the 2,4 GHz interface operates as an Access Point for configuration only of the device through the local Web GUI interface.
Primary data transmission takes place via Wi-Fi HaLow, not standard 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Up to 40 images in device memory
The SC541-HL has approximately 3 MB of Flash memory and can locally store up to 40 JPEG images.
If transmission is temporarily interrupted, images can be stored locally and, after the connection is restored, transmitted to the configured platform.
External SMB connector for Wi-Fi HaLow
Unlike the standard SC541, the SC541-HL variant has an antenna connector 50 Ω SMB Female for the HaLow communication antenna.
USB-C or 2 AA Li/FeS₂ batteries
The SC541-HL can be powered with 5 V / 1 A through the USB-C port or using two AA Li/FeS₂ batteries.
The manufacturer specifies a total battery capacity of 3000 mAh and operating time up to approximately 3 years with three images per day, illumination disabled and a temperature of 25°C.
The USB-C port is not used to charge the batteries. If both power sources are connected simultaneously, USB-C has priority.

Universal 1/4-20UNC photographic thread
The housing has a standard 1/4-20UNC mount, allowing the use of popular camera mounts and arms.
When photographing reflective surfaces, such as meter glass, Milesight recommends positioning the device at a slight angle rather than exactly perpendicular to the surface. This helps reduce reflections.
