Why Does the Manufacturer Specify 7″ and 7,5″?
In current GP6000 accessory documentation, Pro-face describes PFXZCBDS71 as a film for „7-inch screen”.
At the same time, the PFXGP6400TAD compatible-panel data sheet specifies an actual display diagonal of 7,5 inches.
This is the manufacturer’s size-classification convention and does not indicate two different PFXZCBDS71 film variants.
Original Accessory for a GP4000 Panel
In GP4000 documentation, PFXZCBDS71 is assigned directly to GP-4401T.
Pro-face describes this panel as a device with a 7,5″ TFT.
GP4000 documentation also states that the standard PFXZCBDS71 film is not intended for the corresponding rear-mount versions of this family.
Compatibility Retained When Migrating to a New Generation
In the current GP6000 Series, Pro-face continues to use the catalogue number PFXZCBDS71.
The manufacturer also lists this film in the official migration guide from GP4000 7″ to GP6000 Standard 7″.
This allows the same consumable part number to be retained when replacing GP-4401T with the newer PFXGP6400TAD.

PFXZCBDS71 is intended primarily for protecting the screen surface against dirt.
If the application requires ultraviolet protection, the appropriate product is PFXZCFUV71.
