Milesight EM400-UDL-N03GL, PN: W050 is a professional ultrasonic distance and level sensor with NB-IoT / LTE Cat M1 and GNSS positioning. The Pro W050 variant enables non-contact measurement within a range of 0,3–5 m, with an accuracy of ±1% FS and 1 mm resolution, making it suitable for monitoring tanks, wells, sewerage, and water infrastructure.
The device features an enclosure IP67, a 3-axis accelerometer, an internal NTC temperature sensor, threshold alarms, and NFC configuration. Two replaceable 9000 mAh ER26500 Li-SOCl₂ batteries provide approximately 10 Years of Operation with TCP/UDP or approximately 5 years with MQTT/AWS under the manufacturer's test conditions. The W050 variant belongs to the Pro version of the EM400-UDL family and provides a measurement range from 0,3 to 5 metres, ±1% FS accuracy, and 1 mm resolution.
Non-contact measurement allows the sensor to be installed above the liquid surface without immersing the sensing element. The solution is suitable for tanks, wells, sewerage, and distributed water infrastructure, among other applications.

Based on this, the device determines the distance to the measured surface. For a tank, the result can be converted by the supervisory system into the level or fill percentage.

NB-IoT and LTE Cat M1
The EM400-UDL-N03GL is the cellular version of the device, supporting NB-IoT and LTE Cat M1 technologies.
