EM320-TH Magnet — Condition Monitoring in Cold Storage Facilities and Warehouses
Milesight EM320-TH in the Magnet version is a wireless temperature and humidity sensor designed for continuous monitoring of storage conditions for food, medicines, and other sensitive products.
The built-in magnetic mount allows the device to be quickly placed on a metal surface of a cold room, refrigerator, cabinet, or other equipment without drilling holes or using additional brackets.
Accurate Measurement and Quick Mounting
±0,2°C
Within the range from 0 to +60°C, the sensor provides a typical temperature accuracy of ±0,2°C, enabling accurate monitoring of storage conditions.
Magnetic Mounting
The Magnet version can be mounted directly on a metal surface without drilling or additional installation work.
More Than 10 Years of Operation
Two replaceable Li-SOCl₂ batteries with a total capacity of 5400 mAh enable many years of operation without a permanent power supply.
Where Can the EM320-TH Magnet Be Used?
Temperature and Humidity in One Device
Drill-Free Mounting on a Metal Surface
The PN: Magnet variant features an integrated magnetic mount enabling the sensor to be quickly attached to metal surfaces.
This solution is particularly practical in refrigerators, freezers, and cold rooms because it does not require interference with insulation or drilling mounting holes.
Monitoring Storage Conditions for Food and Medicines
EN12830
The EM320-TH complies with EN12830 for temperature recording devices used during transport and storage of products requiring controlled conditions.
Food Grade
The enclosure is made of material approved for food contact, allowing the device to be used in food and pharmaceutical storage environments.
IP67
The multi-layer design and sealing protect the device against dust and water, enabling operation in demanding conditions.
3000 Records and Measurement Retransmission
3000 Records
Built-in memory enables local storage of up to 3000 historical measurement records.
Retransmission
Measurements stored during temporary connection loss can be retransmitted after LoRaWAN communication is restored.
Data Retrievability
Historical data can be retrieved from the device memory, helping maintain continuity of condition documentation.
Response to Parameter Threshold Exceedance
The Threshold Alarm function allows temperature and humidity limit values to be defined. When exceeded, the device can generate a message transmitted via LoRaWAN.
This makes it possible to detect abnormal conditions in a cold room or warehouse without manually checking temperature.
Quick Settings via NFC
The EM320-TH is configured wirelessly via NFC using the Milesight ToolBox app.
This allows device operating parameters, LoRaWAN settings, and alarm thresholds to be changed without opening the enclosure.
Communication, Power Supply and Design
* The manufacturer declares more than 10 years of operation at SF7 / EU868, a 10-minute reporting interval, and a temperature of 25°C. At SF10 / EU868, the declared battery life is approximately 7 years. Actual battery life depends on configuration, radio conditions, and operating temperature.
EM320-TH in a Condition Monitoring System
Temperature and humidity data can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to a gateway and then to a central monitoring platform. This makes it possible to monitor multiple cold rooms, refrigerators, or warehouses from one location.
