Milesight AM308-868M is a multi-parameter air quality sensor 8-in-1 with LoRaWAN communication and a 4,2-inch E-Ink display. The device monitors temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration, TVOC, atmospheric pressure, PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter, light intensity, and occupancy using a PIR sensor.
The clear E-Ink display, environmental quality indicator, and buzzer enable local condition monitoring, while storage for 18 000 records and data retransmission increase monitoring continuity. The AM308 can be powered by 4 replaceable 2700 mAh batteries or USB-C 5 V / 1 A and is suitable for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, and other Smart Building facilities.

AM308 — 8 Environmental Quality Parameters on One Display
Milesight AM308 is an advanced air quality sensor designed for comprehensive indoor condition monitoring.
The device combines measurement of temperature, humidity, CO₂, TVOC, atmospheric pressure, PM2.5 and PM10, light intensity, and occupancy. Results can be presented locally on a 4,2-inch E-Ink display and transmitted via LoRaWAN to a central monitoring system.
Comprehensive View of Indoor Conditions
8-in-1
One device replaces multiple separate measurement points and enables monitoring of key air quality and room utilisation parameters.
E-Ink 4,2"
The large display provides a local view of data, environmental quality assessment, and convenient presentation of information to room users.
18 000 records
Extended local storage and retransmission reduce the risk of gaps in data history.
Where Can the AM308 Be Used?
Key Environmental Parameters in One Device
NDIR CO₂ Measurement
Carbon dioxide concentration is one of the key indicators of ventilation effectiveness in a room.
PM2.5 and PM10 Monitoring
The laser particulate sensor monitors fine airborne particles that have a significant impact on air quality.
TVOC and Atmospheric Pressure
Accurate Temperature and Humidity Measurement
Data Supporting Smart Building Automation
PIR up to 5 m
The PIR sensor makes it possible to determine Vacant / Occupied status and can support room utilisation analysis.
80° × 55°
The PIR detection field is approximately 80° horizontally and 55° vertically.
6 Light Levels
The photodiode operates within a range of 0–60 000 lx, and the AM308 can classify light intensity into six levels from 0 to 5.
4,2-inch E-Ink Display
The AM308 version features a large black-and-white E-Ink display that is not present in the AM308L variant. Users can check current parameters without access to an app or supervisory platform.
The device supports different presentation layouts, Smart Screen mode, and visual indication of overall environmental quality status.
Air Quality Indicator and Buzzer
Traffic Light
The light indicator makes it possible to quickly identify the current environmental quality status without analysing each value separately.
Buzzer
The built-in audible alarm can notify users when configured thresholds are exceeded.
Threshold Alarm
Alarm thresholds can be configured according to the requirements of a specific room and monitoring scenario.
18 000 Records and Retransmission
18 000 records
Extended local storage makes it possible to store measurement history directly in the device.
Retransmission
Data stored during temporary communication loss can be transmitted after the LoRaWAN connection is restored.
Data Retrievability
Historical records can be read from the device memory, helping maintain a complete measurement history.
Batteries or USB Type-C
The AM308 can operate on four replaceable ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ 2700 mAh batteries or be powered with 5 V / 1 A via USB Type-C.
When battery powered, the manufacturer declares approximately 1,3 years of operation for SF7 / EU868 with a 10-minute reporting interval and a temperature of 25°C.
Communication, Power Supply and Design
* The declared battery life applies to a 10-minute reporting interval and a temperature of 25°C. Actual battery life depends on configuration, radio conditions, screen update frequency, and ambient conditions.
AM308 in an Air Quality Monitoring System
All parameters can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to a gateway and then to a central platform, enabling air quality analysis, measurement history, and automatic alarming.
