Milesight AM103L-868M is a compact air quality sensor 3 in 1 with LoRaWAN communication, designed to monitor CO₂ concentration, temperature, and humidity indoors. The NDIR sensor measures CO₂ within a range of 400–5000 ppm, while the accurate MEMS system monitors temperature from −20…+60°C and humidity from 0–100% RH.
Version AM103L has no display, enabling longer battery life. A three-colour LED indicator provides local condition assessment, while storage for 640 records, data retransmission, and NFC configuration support reliable monitoring in offices, schools, hotels, medical facilities, and Smart Building systems.

AM103L — CO₂, Temperature and Humidity Without an Unnecessary Display
Milesight AM103L is a compact air quality sensor designed to monitor three basic indoor environmental parameters: CO₂, temperature, and humidity.
The AM103L version has no E-Ink display, reducing energy consumption and making it particularly suitable where data is analysed centrally on a platform and local presentation of numerical values is not required.
Key Air Quality Parameters in One Device
3-in-1 Monitoring
One device measures CO₂, temperature, and humidity, providing key information about ventilation and user comfort.
Up to Approximately 5 Years of Operation
The absence of a display reduces energy consumption, extending device operation on two replaceable batteries.
640 Records
Local storage and retransmission help maintain measurement history continuity during temporary connectivity issues.
Where Can the AM103L Be Used?
Key Indoor Environmental Parameters
CO₂ Measurement within the 400–5000 ppm Range
Carbon dioxide concentration is a practical indicator of ventilation quality in spaces occupied by people.
Accurate Temperature and Humidity Measurement
Traffic Light Indicator Without a Display
The AM103L has no display but uses a three-colour Traffic Light LED indicator that enables quick local assessment of conditions based on configured thresholds.
This provides users with a clear signal when air quality deteriorates, while detailed values are transmitted via LoRaWAN to the monitoring system.
CO₂ as an Indicator of Air Exchange Effectiveness
An increase in CO₂ concentration in an occupied room may indicate insufficient air exchange. Continuous measurement makes it possible to analyse changes over time and detect unfavourable conditions more quickly.
Data from multiple AM103L devices can be collected in one system, making it easier to compare conditions between rooms and assess ventilation performance.
640 Records and Measurement Retransmission
640 Records
The device can locally store up to 640 historical measurement records.
Retransmission
Data stored during temporary communication problems can be retransmitted after the LoRaWAN connection is restored.
Data Retrievability
Historical records stored locally can be retrieved from the device, helping maintain data continuity.
Quick Setup via NFC
The AM103L can be activated and configured using NFC and the Milesight ToolBox app.
Parameters can also be changed remotely via LoRaWAN downlink, making subsequent management of a larger number of devices easier.
Communication, Power Supply and Design
* The current Milesight technical table specifies approximately 5 years of operation at SF7 / EU868 and approximately 3,3 years at SF10 / EU868 for a 10-minute reporting interval and a temperature of 25°C. Actual battery life depends on configuration, radio connection quality, and ambient conditions.
AM103L in an Air Quality Monitoring System
CO₂, temperature, and humidity data can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to a gateway and then to a central monitoring platform.
