Milesight AM102L-868M is a compact LoRaWAN temperature and humidity sensor designed for continuous monitoring of indoor conditions. The device measures temperature within a range of −20…+60°C and humidity 0–100% RH, providing a typical accuracy of up to ±0,2°C and ±2% RH.
Version AM102L has no display, enabling an exceptionally long battery life — more than 9 years at SF7/EU868 under the manufacturer's test conditions. The sensor features storage for 1280 records, threshold alarms, data retransmission, an LED indicator, and NFC configuration.

AM102L — Discreet Condition Monitoring Without a Display
Milesight AM102L is a compact temperature and humidity sensor designed for long-term monitoring of indoor conditions.
The display-free design is particularly suitable for installations where all data is analysed centrally on a platform and local value display is not required. Thanks to LoRaWAN communication, the sensor can operate without communication or power cables.
Accurate Measurement and More Than 9 Years of Operation
±0,2°C
Within the range from 0 to +60°C, the sensor provides a typical temperature accuracy of ±0,2°C, enabling accurate monitoring of indoor conditions.
More Than 9 Years
The absence of a power-consuming display significantly extends device operating time on two replaceable batteries.
1280 Records
Local storage and data retransmission help maintain history continuity during temporary connectivity issues.
Where Can the AM102L Be Used?
Temperature and Humidity in One Device
Display-Free Design for Even Longer Operation
The AM102L uses the same temperature and humidity sensors as the AM102 but does not have a 2,13-inch E-Ink display.
This solution reduces energy consumption and is suitable for installations where detailed data is presented exclusively on a central monitoring platform.
LED Indicator Despite the Lack of a Display
Despite its display-free design, the device features an LED indicator for local device status indication.
Detailed temperature and humidity values are transmitted wirelessly via the LoRaWAN network to the supervisory system.
Automatic Threshold Exceedance Detection
Temperature Thresholds
Temperature limit values appropriate for a specific room can be defined.
Humidity Thresholds
The sensor can also respond to excessively low or high humidity levels.
Remote Alarming
Events can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to the supervisory system and used for notifications or automation.
1280 Records and Measurement Retransmission
1280 Records
Built-in memory can locally store up to 1280 historical measurement records.
Retransmission
Data stored during temporary communication loss can be retransmitted after the LoRaWAN connection is restored.
Data Retrievability
The data recovery function enables historical records stored in the device memory to be retrieved.
More Than 9 Years on Replaceable Batteries
The AM102L is powered by two replaceable ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ batteries with a capacity of 2700 mAh each.
With a 10-minute reporting interval, a temperature of 25°C and SF7 for EU868, the manufacturer declares more than 9 years of operation. At SF10 for EU868, the declared battery life is approximately 5,2 years.
Quick Setup via NFC
The device can be activated and configured using NFC and the Milesight ToolBox app.
Parameters can also be changed via LoRaWAN downlink messages, making it easier to manage a larger number of sensors.
Communication, Power Supply and Design
* The manufacturer declares more than 9 years of operation at SF7 / EU868 and approximately 5,2 years at SF10 / EU868. The test was performed with a 10-minute reporting interval and a temperature of 25°C. Actual battery life depends on device configuration, radio conditions, and ambient temperature.
AM102L in a Condition Monitoring System
Temperature and humidity measurements can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to a gateway and then to a central monitoring platform.
