AM102 — Indoor Condition Monitoring with an E-Ink Display
Milesight AM102 is a compact 2-in-1 sensor designed for continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity in indoor spaces.
Accurate MEMS sensors, LoRaWAN communication, and a 2,13-inch E-Ink display make it possible to present current conditions to users while simultaneously transmitting data to a central monitoring system.
Simple and Accurate Indoor Condition Monitoring
±0,2°C
Within the 0…+60°C range, the sensor provides a typical temperature accuracy of ±0,2°C, enabling accurate control of indoor conditions.
E-Ink 2,13"
The energy-efficient display provides a local view of temperature and humidity without the need to use an app.
More Than 7 Years of Operation
Two replaceable 2700 mAh Li-SOCl₂ batteries enable many years of operation without a permanent power supply.
Where Can the AM102 Be Used?
Temperature and Humidity in One Device
Accurate CMOSens® MEMS Sensors
2,13-inch E-Ink Display
The AM102 features an energy-efficient black-and-white E-Ink display that presents current temperature and humidity values without the need to open an app or supervisory system.
The device also supports light and dark interface modes, allowing data presentation to be adapted to the conditions and character of the room.
Smart Screen and Screen Hibernation
Smart Screen Mode
Intelligent screen refresh management helps reduce energy consumption.
Screen Hibernate
The display can enter hibernation mode according to a configured schedule.
Battery Powered
The energy-efficient display and LoRaWAN enable many years of operation without running power cables.
Automatic Limit Value Control
The Threshold Alarm function allows limit values to be set for temperature and humidity.
Exceeding the configured range can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to the supervisory system and used to generate notifications or further automation.
1280 Records and Retransmission
1280 Records
Built-in memory can locally store up to 1280 historical measurement records.
Retransmission
Data stored during temporary communication loss can be retransmitted after the LoRaWAN connection is restored.
Data Retrievability
The system can retrieve historical records stored directly in the device memory.
Monitoring Museums, Archives and Sensitive Rooms
Combining accurate temperature and humidity measurement with local data storage makes the AM102 suitable for locations requiring stable environmental conditions.
The sensors can monitor museum exhibitions, archives, warehouses, or other rooms where long-term deviations in temperature and humidity may affect stored materials.
Quick Setup via NFC
The AM102 can be activated and configured via NFC using the Milesight ToolBox app.
Operating parameters can also be changed remotely via LoRaWAN downlink messages, making it easier to manage a larger installation.
Communication, Power Supply and Design
* The manufacturer specifies more than 7 years of operation at SF7 / EU868 and approximately 4,2 years at SF10 / EU868. Test conditions: 10-minute reporting interval and a temperature of 25°C. Actual battery life depends on device settings, screen refresh frequency, radio connection quality, and ambient conditions.
AM102 in a Condition Monitoring System
Temperature and humidity measurements can be transmitted via LoRaWAN to a gateway and then to a central monitoring platform.
