Phoenix Contact CELLULINK 2401-4G EU M25, item no. 1503433 is an industrial cellular router for outdoor applications, using LTE Cat.1 with transfer rates up to 10 Mbit/s and automatic fallback to the 2G network. Phoenix Contact CELLULINK 2401-4G EU M25 is an industrial cellular router designed to provide machines, controllers and other Ethernet devices with access to the 4G network in industrial and field installations.
The router uses LTE Cat.1 with speeds of up to 10 Mbit/s download and 5 Mbit/s upload, has an integrated 1×1 SISO antenna and supports automatic fallback to the 2G network. Nano SIM and eSIM support with multiple profiles also enables operator switching.
Version M25 has been developed specifically for pole or panel mounting and is powered via an Ethernet cable. The IP66/IP69K and IK10 enclosure and operating range from −40 to +70°C allow the router to be used directly in demanding industrial environments.

CELLULINK 2401-4G EU M25 uses a modem LTE Cat.1 designed for European cellular networks.
In the LTE-FDD network, the maximum speed is 10 Mbit/s DL and 5 Mbit/s UL. For LTE-TDD, the manufacturer specifies 8,96 Mbit/s and 3,1 Mbit/s respectively.
If LTE is unavailable, the router can automatically use the GSM/2Gfunction.
Variant designed for European cellular networks
Integrated 1×1 SISO cellular antenna
The router has integrated 1×1 SISO cellular antenna, so no external antenna installation or additional coaxial cable is required.
Integrating the antenna directly into the enclosure simplifies installation and reduces the number of components required in field installations.
Nano SIM and eSIM with multiple profiles
CELLULINK 2401 supports a physical Nano SIM in 4FF format and a built-in eSIM.
The eSIM can store several profiles, allowing flexible selection of the cellular network operator.
The manufacturer describes the device as Dual SIM and indicates a provider fallback function between the SIM card and eSIM.
1 × RJ45 10/100Base-T(X) with PoE In
The router has 1 shielded RJ45 port compatible with Ethernet 10/100Base-T(X) and IEEE 802.3.
The port supports automatic speed negotiation, and the maximum length of a shielded Twisted Pair cable is 100 mfunction.

CELLULINK 2401 supports NAT, enabling the cellular connection to be shared with a device on the local Ethernet network.

The router does not have a conventional VPN tunnel function. For applications requiring VPN, Phoenix Contact recommends using a suitable VPN controller or security device.
Positioning and time synchronisation
The integrated GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDoufunction.
Satellite data can be used both to determine the router position and to synchronise the system clock.
CELLULINK can also operate as a NTPv4 Stratum 1 server, providing synchronised time to devices on the local Ethernet network.
Power over the same cable as Ethernet communication
Variant M25 has no separate DC power inputfunction.
The device is powered via Ethernet using PoE compliant with IEEE 802.3af or passive PoE.
This solution reduces the number of cables required when installing the router on a pole or at another remote location.
IEC 62443-4-2 certification
CELLULINK 2401-4G EU M25 has product certification compliant with IEC 62443-4-2function.
The device development process is additionally certified in accordance with IEC 62443-4-1function.
The device can be managed through a secure web interface or via REST API.

The permissible pole diameter ranges from 30 to 250 mm. With a suitable adapter, the router can also be mounted on a panel or other surface.
The mounting orientation can be arbitrary, making it easier to adapt the device to the machine structure or field infrastructure.
Rugged polycarbonate enclosure
The enclosure is made of polycarbonate with UL94 V0 flammability rating in light grey RAL 7035.
Device dimensions are 90 × 195 × 67 mm. When the wall adapter is used, the depth increases to approximately 68 mm.
