Gateways provide the bridge between LoRaWAN end devices and IP networks or supervisory platforms. They receive radio packets from multiple devices and forward them via Ethernet, Wi‑Fi or LTE to a LoRaWAN Network Server; selected models can also include an embedded network server and MQTT/HTTP integration. Key selection criteria include channel count, regional frequency band, uplink method, PoE support and environmental rating.
